According to the Center for Talent Innovation research, Latinos will account for the majority of US workforce growth between now and 2020, and Latino buying power will near $2 trillion in 2020. To tap this massive market, work teams need Latino perspectives. Research shows that teams with representation from their "target end user" are over 150% more likely to understand that culture. Companies won't achieve better representation until they address major workplace challenges reported by Latinos including: an inability to be authentic at work, having to endure slurs and the theft of credit for their good ideas, and exclusion from social networks outside of work.
