Nia Baker
Research Intern
Picture of Nia Baker Research Intern
Nia Baker is a research intern with Exponential Talent. Trained in qualitative methods and human-centered design, she uses her skills to support clients by assisting with research on various DEI topics and with qualitative data collection and analysis.

Nia earned her B.A. in both Sociology and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Lehigh University. She is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Virginia. Her research considers the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality, examining how marginalized groups navigate and respond to systems of social inequality. Outside of her scholarly pursuits, Nia enjoys poetry, the gym, and hanging out with her cat, Cheeto. In the long-term, she hopes to pursue a career that integrates both her passion for research and social justice advocacy.
