As an Advisor at Exponential Talent, Terra Terwilliger advises clients on developing and implementing D&I strategies that create meaningful change. Terra is the Founder and Publisher of D&I In Practice, a subscription service that provides executives with timely, relevant D&I information they can trust, and helps them speak confidently about D&I to their peers, employees and investors.
Prior to D&I In Practice, Terra led the Corporate Program at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University, where she worked with Stanford professors and leading technology companies to translate cutting-edge research into company practices. Terra has spoken on diversity and inclusion at many leading companies, as well as at the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education program.
Terra spent 20 years in technology leadership roles, including Vice President of Marketing at Citrus Lane, Marketing Director at Microsoft, Director of Equipment Sales at AT&T Wireless and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. She also led her own consulting firm, offering interim executive services to venture-backed companies.
Terra holds a Bachelor of the Arts from Stanford University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
