Lead Consultant - DE&I Strategies
Adriele Parker is a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) lead consultant with over 11 years of combined experience in DEI strategy development, training and facilitation, and implementation. She has experience working with clients in many areas of DEI including inclusive recruiting, learning and development, career development, and culture development. She is experienced in agile DEI project management, program design and implementation, and people enablement.
Adriele began her career in university career development, through which she gained exposure to tech recruiting. In 2015, she joined the internal recruiting team of a global tech startup, where she was formally introduced to and began working in the DEI space. There, she worked closely with stakeholders across the organization to establish DEI data pipelines, develop more inclusive hiring strategies and procedures, and build out a number of programs to promote DEI across the company.
In 2018, Adriele joined GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) as a DEI associate and within a few short months was promoted to global manager of DEI. During her time with GLG, she built out and implemented the company’s first DEI strategy, partnering with executive leaders in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Adriele then became a senior project manager at Pivotal Software (now VMware and soon to be Broadcom) where she collaborated with others to develop and implement DEI initiatives using agile methodologies, managed ERGs, and coached internal DEI leaders and allies on best practices.
At Exponential Talent, Adriele both leads DEI strategy and implementation projects and is a lead facilitator/trainer for multiple DEI education programs we offer. She has extensive experience in the technology industry and also works with clients from many other industries including financial services, manufacturing, and retail. Adriele is a frequent speaker, she has authored an inclusive leadership journal and she hosts a podcast called DEI in 5.
Adriele holds a BFA from New York University and an MA from the City University of New York.
