Adriele Parker is a diversity, equity, and inclusion thought partner with over 11 years of combined experience in D&I strategy, recruiting, learning and development, career development, and operations. She specializes in agile D&I project management, program design and implementation, and people enablement.
Adriele began her career in university career development, through which she gained exposure to tech recruiting. In 2015, she joined the internal recruiting team of a global tech startup, where she was formally introduced to and began working in the Diversity & Inclusion space. There, she worked closely with stakeholders across the organization to establish D&I data pipelines, develop more inclusive hiring strategies and procedures, and build out a number of programs to promote D&I across the company.
In 2018, Adriele joined GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) as a D&I associate and within a few short months was promoted to global manager of D&I. During her time with GLG, she built out and implemented the company’s first D&I strategy, partnering with executive leaders in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Most recently, Adriele was a senior project manager at Pivotal Software (now VMware) where she collaborated with others to develop and implement D&I initiatives using agile methodologies, managed ERGs, and coached internal D&I leaders and allies on best practices.
Adriele holds a BFA from New York University and an MA from the City University of New York.
