She brings a unique mix of strategic business savvy, human resources expertise, inclusion and diversity leadership and heart.
Joyce honed her expertise in leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies ranging from Hilton to Deloitte to Pacific Gas & Electric Company. Because of her ability to give straight talk and compassionate advice and counsel, she has been sought to advise leaders ranging from first line supervisors to SVPs to CEOs.
Joyce’s leadership and change expertise have been key to effective organization change such as plant closures, reorganizations and mergers.
Joyce’s path to focus on Inclusion, Diversity and Leadership came via her work in talent acquisition, performance management, succession management and leadership. Impacting organizations through human resources strategies, she has been on the front lines of driving transformational change that resulted in employee engagement and improved customer satisfaction.
Joyce has given back to her community via board roles including executive committee member for the Center for Workplace Compliance, President and Chair of the Employee Community Fund at PG&E (ERG community scholarships), and board member with the Contra Costa Crisis Center.
She earned BA degrees in Psychology and Economics from UC Santa Cruz, which started her on the road to developing expertise on human behavior in corporate settings.
