Sydnia DeFranco

Sydnia DeFranco is an experienced race and equity educator, lecturer, and program director with a demonstrated history of working 22 years in the higher education industry in the U.S. and in Nicaragua. She has served as a consultant to the Ministry of Education in Manaqua, Nicaragua and to many other educational organizations. She’s also served as a leader for a social justice and equity program at academic institutions for many years. Sydnia is skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Race & Ethnic Relations, Management, and Social Justice. She holds a Graduate certificate focused in the Management of Non-profit Organizations from Case Western Reserve University; a MA in English Language and literature/Letters from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; and a BA, English and Education at Marquette University
 
Sydnia is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. She resides in Cleveland, OH with her husband and three sons.
